The national Chief Imam of Ghana, Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharubutu donated GHc 50,000 for the construction of the National Cathedral earlier today.
Whiles making the donation to the caretakers of the National Cathedral earlier today, Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharubutu said that his gesture was meant to deepen the cordial and peaceful coexistence between Christians and Muslims in the country.
Well, some Muslims seems not to be pleased with their leaders’ decision to help build the National Cathedral since they believe it’s against the rules of Islam because Allah frowns on such.
According to Ibrahim Abdulai who is a staunch Muslim, Allah has warned Muslims not to even eat with no Muslims so he’s shocked that Muslims are now contributing to the development of a place of worship that belongs to Non-muslims.
He commented wrote;
I couldn’t believe upon seeing that post, because even Allah warned Muslims not to even eat food with non muslims but Muslims are now contributing moies to build their place of worship.. May Allah Gudie us onto the right path of the religion (Islam)

Meanwhile, about almost 90% of Muslims on the local digital space have commended the national Chief Imam for his unflinching desire to see to the completion of the National Cathedral.
