I use profane words in my songs because… – Pappy Kojo

Versatile Ghanaian hip-hop artiste, Jason Gaisie, known as Pappy Kojo has revealed why he is fond of using profane words in his songs.

If you have really listened to Pappy Kojo’s songs, you will know he is one of the Ghanaian artistes who use profane lines in most of their songs.

He has also been loved for the use of such words and it looks as though he is not drifting away from those words any time soon.

According to Pappy in a recent interview with Amansan Krakye on Radio Central, doing hip-hop is about being a rebel and going against the rules; one of the main reasons why he uses vulgar words in his rap and it is something he won’t stop.

“It’s hip-hop oo. I don’t do highlife I do hip-hop. Hip hop is going against the rules. Hip-hop is being a rebel and going against the rules so nobody can choose the words I should use in hip-hop for me. Today I can say this, the next day I can say something else. It’s hip hop”,
