Popular social media commentator and musician Kwame Asare Boateng popularly known as A Plus has incurred the wrath of popular sound engineer Hammer of the last two after claiming that the One Teacher one Laptop initiative by the NPP is irrelevant.
According to A Plus the laptops would not be of any use should they be given to the teachers when there are no textbooks to be used as reference points for the teaching.
He however called for the initiative with was introduced by Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia to be revised so that they can use the money to buy books for the children rather than buy laptops to be shared with teachers who already have some of the laptops and wouldn’t need new ones.
Reacting to the words of A Plus Hammer stated that it was very disheartening how A plus always sees something wrong with whatever is been done by the NPP government even when they mean good.
” Eii Masa Akoti!!! I’m sure if children are been given textbooks too you would say teachers are not been equipped well with laptops too” He said.
