During the funeral Opare’s father – Who a popular NPP die-hard fan and member of the elite society in the party well-known as Opare, some fans of Dr Bawumia and Alan Kyeremateng decided to fight as they now see thesmeles as rivals ahead ofbthe parties next primaries.
In a video that is fast circulating on the internet, admirers of the incumbent MP, Hon. Boadu Kwadwo Asante, blocked Frank Asiedu Bekoe, also known as Protozoa from greeting the incumbent MP for Suhum Constituency.
This move angered his people to open the flood gates of insults.
Mr Osei, a member of Frank Asiedu Bekoe’s team took the microphone at the burial to furiously announce that they leaving the funeral grounds because they were not allowed to greet the MP.
This enraged the MP’s followers, resulting in a free-for-all brawl at the funeral grounds.
Bernard Kwasi Amoani, 51, is reported to have been brutally wounded with a cutlass while Alexander Osei’s lips were destroyed by heavy blows.
