Minister of Information, Hon. Kojo Oppong Nkrumah has revealed that ten Guineans who test positive for Coronavirus in Tamale will be repatriated back to their country of origin.
Kojo Oppong Nkrumah made the information known at the press conference that was held by the Ministry of Information on the afternoon of March 29, 2020.
According to the minister, the 10 foreigners who came from Guinea tested positive for the novel coronavirus after being in the country for 11 days.
He added that the Guineans were under mandatory quarantine under the direction of the Regional Security Committee of the Northern Region. This was after authorities in Tamale were notified about the arrival of the Guineans.
