“Your entire achievement is selling waakye” – Shatta Wale trolls Reggie Rockstone (video)
Self-acclaimed Dancehall King, Charles Nii-Armah Mensah, aka Shatta Wale has dissed Reggie Rockstone in a latest facebook live video.
According to Shatta Wale, Reggie Rockstone is entirely wrong for saying he inspired a lot of artists to do hiplife and projected the image of Ghana music.
Shatta posited that the often hailed Grandpapa of hiplife has not achieved anything in music as his only achievement he [Shatta] recalls is the hiplife legend’s ability to sell waakye in front of his house.
Wale added that Reggie cannot even build a house for himself out of so-called audio achievements from music and as a matter of fact, he [Reggie] still lives in his father’s house.
Shatta Wale without mincing words went on to say that Reggie Rockstone is a failure and for that matter joined VIP just to revive his dead career and make some connections with the youth in the ghetto but that did not work as planned by the grandpapa.
This comes after Reggie Rockstone took time to school Shatta in an instagram video following the dancehall artist’s earlier comment in an interview with MzGee on TV3 that Reggie made no impact with rap music and hiplife.
