The western regional minister Kwabena Okyere Darko-Mensah, has made some shocking revelations about the kidnapping of the 29-year-old pregnant woman whose name was identified as Josephine Panyin Mensah.
The minister who was speaking during an interview with Omanhene Yaw Adu Boakye on Kessben FM revealed that the preliminary investigation by the National Intelligence Bureau (NIB) showed that the kidnapping of the woman was fake as well as the pregnancy .
He further added that the police are still with her as they try to interrogate her to ascertain the real issue behind her disappearance.
Mrs. Josephine was said to have gone missing after his husband Micheal Simmons came out to reveal how her 9-month-old pregnant wife didn’t show up after going for her dawn jogging in Takoradi.
A search was immediately conducted to find the whereabouts of the lady only for her to be found some days later at Axim unable to speak.
The husband of the victim who also spoke with reporters revealed that he is indeed sad and angry with the statement of the minister who also doubles as the Chairman of the Western Regional Security Council over claims that his wife was never pregnant as well as kidnapped.
