More Twist: Takoradi Missing Pregnant Woman Never Pregnant; Western Regional Minister Confirms
The recent news of a Takoradi woman who was alleged to have been caught whiles pregnant has had many sides of the stories been told by both the family and people close to the woman.
In the latest development, Western Regional Minister, Mr. Kwabena Okyere Darko-Mensah has revealed that the woman who was stated to have been pregnant when she was kidnapped was never pregnant as speculated.
According to him, Checks done on her revealed that she has not been pregnant as revealed by his husband whose name was identified as Michael Simmons.
The pregnant woman was said to have been found yesterday, September 21 by a carpenter in Axim who called their family to come to take her home after she couldn’t speak and was said to have been left by the kidnappers because she was a twin and couldn’t be used for rituals.
Takoradi-based Connect FM’s Paa Kwesi Simpson speaking to the husband of Josephine revealed that his wife was pregnant when she was kidnapped and there are proves from the Takoradi hospital that can prove what they are saying.
He was moved to tears by the words of the regional Minister, claiming the National Security should have made its cross-checks before coming out with that piece of information.
