R. Kelly found guilty on all counts in s3x-trafficking trial

R. Kelly has been convicted guilty of s3xually abusing women, boys, and girls for decades on Monday, culminating the R&B superstar’s spectacular fall from grace.

The 54-year-old singer was found guilty of all nine charges, including racketeering and violating the Mann Act, which bars the transportation of “any woman or girl” across state borders for any “immoral purpose.”

He could spend the rest of his life in prison.

The jury, which consisted of seven men and five women, deliberated for roughly nine hours over two days before reaching a unanimous decision.

Prosecutors characterized Kelly as a “predator” who preyed on young victims using his celebrity and a cadre of staffers from the start of the month-long trial in the federal courthouse in downtown Brooklyn.

Prosecutors utilized a network of friends and employees in Kelly’s “inner circle” to transfer his victims across state lines, control their behavior, and arrange the s3xual assault to prove the racketeering case against him.

Prosecutors from the Eastern District of New York invited a parade of witnesses to testify about the abuse they suffered at the hands of the discredited musician.
