It is indeed true that all that glitters is not gold and that has been vividly explained after a picture circulating on social media showed how a man alleged to be staying abroad and making a good living was seen wearing very dirty and tattered clothes.
It has become a theory that anyone that travels abroad automatically becomes rich and needs to send money home and also make properties but that cannot be said to be the case of the young man who was alleged to be homeless and wishes to come back home.
Sharing the plight of the young man a good samaritan took to social media to share a little information about the man and the number to call should in case anyone would want to help.
According to the post the young man used to stay at Ashongman before he left for the state to seek greener pastures but unfortunately didn’t get his expectations been meet.
The post was said to have read saying;
This gentleman Johnson Takyi who says he hails from Ashongman in Accra is homeless and is on the streets in the Bronx New York. I asked for his permission and took this photograph to circulate, per chance a relative would get in touch and help him.
