Vera Hamenoo-Kpeda, stage name MzVee is a Ghanaian Afro-pop, dancehall, and R&B singer, and songwriter. Formerly signed to Lynx Entertainment, she dropped her debut album in 2014 which thrust her into the limelight.

The album was so successful that she earned seven nominations at the 2016 Ghana Music Awards. Her songs bring Joy, Pleasure, and inspiration to their listeners. She’s known and loved by most in equal measures.

Mzvee was born as Vera Hamenoo-Kpeda but she goes by the stage name MzVee. She was born in the year 1992, on the 23rd of June at Accra. She is 27 years old.

MzVee was born to the family of Mr. Ernest Hamenoo-Kpeda and Mrs. Florence Hamenoo-Kpeda.
She was named Vera by her parents. Her father is a businessman while her mom is a professional caterer. She has three siblings, two sisters and a brother.

MzVee started her music career in 2012 and was the lead singer of D3, a girl band signed under Lynx Entertainment. They were known for the songs; Gyani Gyani and Girls Gone Bad.
She dropped her debut album which had already hit singles like Borkor Borkor and Natural Girl in 2014. The album was so successful that she earned nominations at the different music awards in Ghana.
After the success of the first album, MzVee came up with her second studio album, Verified, in November 2015. While her third album, DaaVee was dropped in May 2017.
Mzvee had a three-year break after releasing DaaVee in 2017, she came back to drop her fourth album, invincible in 2020. As one of the biggest music artists in Ghana and West Africa, she has worked with the likes of Sarkodie, Tekno, DJ Spinall, Efya, Shatta Wale, Mugeez, Falz, Kojo Funds, M.anifest, Medikal, Kelvyn Boy, Stonebwoy, Richie Mensah, VIP and Didier Awadi.
