Ghana’s Minister for Communications and NPP bigwig – Hon Ursula Owusu-Ekuful has stated that her husbands money is theirs nut hers is for her alone.
According to the NPP firebrand, he doesn’t buy into the philosophy of women supporting their men in the area of finance.
To her, it’s the sole duty of the man to provide anything in the from a needle to the biggest thing and housekeeping money reason why she keeps on promoting the works of her husband who owns Ekuful Eye Clinic.
In her own words;
My philosophy is that my money is my money and your money our money. It is the duty of the husband to give chop money (housekeeping money). There is nothing wrong with that. Whether I promote him or not, whatever money he gets, we’ll share
This submission follows after the former member of Parliament for the Kumbungu constituency – Hon Ras Mubarak accused her of illegally promoting her husbands business.
According to Ras Mubarak, the constitution does not permit members of parliament to endorse a private company.
