Lil Wayne, American rapper has been charged with one count of possession of firearm and ammunition on a plane.
The musician had gone to jail for eight months for a similar offence so this charge is charging him as a convicted felon. This charge, according to TMZ, could lead to about 10 years imprisonment.
He is expected to make an appearance in court in December.

His lawyer, Howard Srebnick confirmed this on Tuesday that Lil Wayne was indeed charged for ”possessing a gold-plated handgun” in his luggage while travelling on a plane. He also added that there charge does not prove he is a dangerous person.
