Ghanaian rapper, Kwaw Kese was among the lead vocalists on social media who kicked against parliament’s decision to build a 450 capacity chamber.
The artist who joined the #dropthatchamber campaigned took to social media to blast politicians for considering to build a chamber valued at $200m for parliament.
Though parliament, through a presser revealed it has rescinded it decision to build a new chamber, Kwaw Kese cannot fathom why some musicians chose to stay mute on the issue.
According to him, a celebrity/artist is supposed to use his influence to make a change otherwise he’s a stomach musician.
He wrote; “If u claim to be a musician, youth leader or celebrity and can’t use ur position to affect positive change in your community or Ghana as a whole then fuck u. Shame to those stomach musicians who said they won’t listen Some of us spoke and now they’ve “ dropped the chamber.”
