Earlier last Monday, two Kaduna College students were shot dead by some officers of the Nigerian Police Force during a demonstration staged by the students over the increase in tuition fees by authorities.
The two students who lost their lives after the police tried to disperse the learners from demonstrating have been identified as Zakari Abbas and Emmanuel aka DJ Skibbo.
It is said that they died on the spot after the police opened fire after they failed to professionally halt the demonstration.
Reacting to this unfortunate situation, the school’s registrar, Mr Timothy Marcus has confirmed demise of the two students in a statement dropped by the institution on June 29, 2021.
The current students have been asked to go home whiles the dead ones were laid to rest earlier this afternoon.
