Date Of IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu’s first trial in court after his arrest by the Interpol and Nigerian Police force revealed

The arrest of IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu came as a surprise to many Nigerians especially the Igbos as it was never expected after he fled from the country in 2017 after been trailed by the Nigerian high-court for treason and other charges.

At the moment, Nnamdi Kanu who was extradited from the UK last week through a joint combat by Interpol and the Nigerian police has been asked to be detained in the Kanu DSS facility by the Federal High Court of Abuja.

According to reports, Nnamdi Kanu will remain in the custody of the DSS until July 26 2021 when he will tried in court.

Currently, the Nigeria high court has placed 11 count charges against him.

Nnamdi Kanu’s arrest comes at the back of his unending calls and fights for Igbos to be separated from Nigeria.

Meanwhile, Nnamdi Kanu’s lawyer has argued that his client has not faulted either has he committed any crime for calling for the separation of the Federal Republic Of Nigeria

Whiles speaking with the media, Lawyer Alloy Ejimakor also stated that he expects the international community to protect Kanu’s political idea of gaining independence from Nigeria.

It can be recalled that In October 2015, the IPOB leader; Nnamdi Kanu was arrested and charged for terrorism, treasonable felony and other several offences.
