Just In: Drivers Calls Off Strike As GPRTU Gets Invited To The Presidency

News information coming in and available to Gossips24.com has revealed that drivers have called off the strike after the president called on the leaders of the Ghana public road transport unit (GPRTU) for a meeting at the presidency.

The statement which was released under the signature of the general secretary of the GPRTU Godfred Abulbire stated that the strike has been called off after they received a call to the presidency.

According to them all drivers and transport operators are to return back to their various jobs as they embark on the meeting with the president on ways of reducing the transport fares that have been increased.

The statement from the GPRTU comes after drivers all over the country decided to go on strike due to the rise in the prices of fuel in the country.
