Popular Ghanaian actor turn politician John Dumelo earlier today paid a visit at some areas of his constituency, West Legon to be specific in the Greater Accra region of Ghana.
His visit was primarily to sympathize with families who were hit by the heavy downpour last night in some parts of Accra.
Aided by some residents of the affected area, John Dumelo stormed the exact homes and locations where deteriorating state of the roads heighten the destruction of properties in the area.
John Dumelo this known on his Facebook page where he vowed to quickly intervene to curb the reoccurrence of this unfortunate incident.
Concluding the caption beneath the photo he shared, he hinted that he is not going to do ‘lip-service’ when he comes into office as most politicians did in the past by giving promises they did not fulfil eventually.
He wrote:
“I toured areas affected by the heavy rainfall yesterday in West Legon this dawn. Many lives and properties were affected by the flooding and as an aspiring Member of Parliament, I will ensure that measures are put in place to stop this from reoccurring. No more promises. #idey4u”
