I’m yet to understand why any sane human and a high ranking member of the state to be precise, will publicly declare that he’s happy for trending on a bad note parcelled with a wrapper of sheer disgrace and an un-erasable dent of reputation.

Carlos Ahenkorah

Tema West’s MP, Hon. Kingsley Carlos Ahenkorah has finally reacted to his infamous snatching of ballot box and papers in the parliament house which has become a trending topic both locally and internationally during the dissolution of the 7th parliament and the inauguration of the 8th session under the 4th Republic.

Videos from the incident which has gone rife on the internet and additionally raised eyebrows have consequently caused a public uproar as many citizens have mounted a crusade for his arrest.

Amidst this brouhaha, Carlos Ahenkrah who has no remorse for his unlawful behaviour has worsened the already disgusting state of matters with his latest disparaging comments.

Whiles speaking on live radio with Joy FM’s Emefa Apau, the honourable-minister revealed that he’s happy that his name all over the place and currently on top of the trends table.

Whiles forgetting that it is more damaging to say foolish things than to actually do them.

His reckless comments have angered social media users and other concerned citizens because we all thought that as a wise person, he would have used the platform to render an unqualified apology to Ghanaians for disrespecting our constitution.

Meanwhile, there’s an ongoing petition on the local digital space calling for the arrest of Carlos Ahenkorah for breaching the laws of elections and worse of all in the parliament house.
