Election 2020: Please vote for me because I have done very well for my first term – Nana Addo pleads with Ghanaians

Ghana’s sitting President,  Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo who hopes to retain power after 7 December’s polls has appealed to Ghanaians to give him another four-year term citing his superb performance during his first tenure.

 

 

 

 

…We’re taking another step towards another extremely important objective of our country. That is to guarantee universal health coverage for every single Ghanaian. That we will have access to good quality healthcare for every single Ghanaian…

 

Nana Addo made these comments during a sod-cutting ceremony in the Bono East Region meant for the construction of a multi-million dollar hospital project and a state of the art market centre. 

 

The new hospital is expected to be completed in two years.

 

 

The deputy msiter designate for health who was also present at th ceremony Dr Bernard Okoe-Boakye added the following to the present’s speech;

 

 

 

 

 

 

I am so excited because this particular project has been on the drawing board for over a decade. Nine years ago, when I was working here, I was told that very soon we will stop keeping our women on the corridor and that the hospital will come (sic). “Eight years of NDC administration, the hospital never arrived (sic). But today we are here to see the commencement of the project.
