Flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama has promised commercial drivers and vehicle owners that his next administration will reduce import duties on commercial vehicles to make them cheap.
As pledged by John Mahama, import duties on sprinter-buses would be reduced to make them cost-moderate for drivers and vehicle owners to purchase for more for their work.
John Mahama made this promise at a mini-rally at Mponyanse in the Adansi Akrofoum Constituency in the Obuasi Municipality of the Ashanti Region.
The NDC has suspended its campaign following the shocking demise of the party’s founder and former President, Jerry John Rawlings.
