Elections 2020: NDC Pledges To Establish Street Lights Authority

Mr Samuel Ofosu Ampofo, the National Chairman of the NDC, has announced that the next NDC government will build a body which will solely be in charge of the management of the street lights levies paid by electricity consumers to properly maintain street lights in the country.

While speaking with party sympathizers in the course of the NDC’s campaign tour in New Edubiase constituency, the national chairman of the largest opposition party also indicated that offices will be built in the districts and employ electricians to repair and fix problems on street lights in the communities.

On the authority of Mr Ofosu Ampofo, the next NDC government would provide flexible loan schemes to small scale traders and free primary health care for the ordinary Ghanaian citizen.

He also touched on the debatable  Big Push agenda, which was highlighted during the NDC’s manifesto, which is aimed at investing US$10billion into Ghana’s economy to provide jobs and improve infrastructure.
