A Guinean national who tested positive for the novel coronavirus and escaped from a quarantine center has been reportedly found in Accra.
Deputy Minister of Health, Alexander Kodwo Kom Abban made the rather breathtaking revelation on Citi FM’s Saturday morning show The Big Issue.
The woman, who is among 10 Guineans that tested positive for the virus in Tamale evaded security and bolted.
Her current location and the circumstances that surround her arrest were not disclosed.
Salifu Saeed, Northern Regional Minister earlier broke the news that the coronavirus patient in Tamale escaped from the hospital after she was quarantined had still not been found.
It would be recalled that Information Minister, Hon. Kojo Oppong Nkrumah revealed that ten Guineans who test positive for Coronavirus in Tamale will be repatriated back to their country of origin.
Kojo Oppong Nkrumah made the information known at the press conference that was held by the Ministry of Information on the afternoon of March 29, 2020.
