John Mahama Is Committed To The Transformation Of The Volta Region – Communication Officer

The Volta Regional Communications Officer, Mr Kafui Agbleze has argued that former president, John Dramani Mahama is committed to the transformation of the Volta Region.

According to him, the NDC’s People’s Manifesto had reverberated well with the individuals of the Volta Region and the nation everywhere as it mirrored their goals.

Speaking at a press conference in Ho on the theme: “Locating Volta Region in the NDC manifesto,” Mr Kafui Agbleze indicated the manifesto contained many positive things for the people of the Volta region.

As such, he called on the people to vote for John Dramani Mahama and the NDC parliamentary candidates on December 7 to bring the party back to power to continue with its transformational agenda as the party looks forward to enhancing the economy and improve lives.

The Communication officer said the next NDC-led administration would construct an irrigation dam at Kpli, Dekpor, Weta and Afife in the Ketu North Constituency.

It would likewise complete agribusiness mechanisation in specific areas all through the region to empower farmers to embrace their farming activities with ease.

He said the NDC would establish a military hospital in Ho, provide Districts hospitals and complete the Akatsi hospital project to bring quality healthcare delivery closer to the people.

Mr Kafui said the people of Aflao would profit from an ultra-modern market as the community was one of the border communities that contributed huge income to the improvement of the economy.

The Communication Officer said the people of Tongor-Dzemeni would benefit from a fishing port. At the same time, Sogakope and Kpando Torkor would have a modern fish market to enable traders to carry out their business in a serene environment to earn a decent living.

Mr Agbleze said the party if voted into power come December 7 would construct a special purpose port at Keta to enhance economic activities at that enclave of the Region to transform the lives of the people and to avoid ships from sister countries from travelling to Tema or Takoradi to refuel.

He said the NDC would establish a digital and innovation centre for the Region and supply tertiary and senior high schools with free laptops and wifi to promote quality teaching and learning.
