Ghanaian dancehall king Shatta Wale born Charles Nii Armah Mensah has been said to have shed uncontrollable tears after he pleaded to be placed behind counterback instead of cells.
The musician who is currently in the police cells was said to have given himself up thinking he would be made to sit behind the counterback but had the shock of his life when he was asked to be treated like a criminal and placed in the cells.
Shatta Wale who is set to release his album soon was alleged to have done that to create some attention through which he would promote his album but unfortunately bit more than he can chew after he had himself been locked up.
Shatta Wale is said to have looked very remorseful after he was caught judging from his composure after handcuffs were placed on his hands.
According to reports, Shatta Wale pleaded to be made to sit behind counterback while the police did their investigation but the IGP had given a strict order for him to be placed in the cells with his other accomplices’ nana Dope and Gangee who were the ones spreading the shooting stunt.
A source at the police station revealed that the musician became very calm after the incident and had tears dropping from his eyes whiles he was been placed in the cells.
