I knew Shatta Wale before I traveled to Ghana – Cardi B (VIDEO)
American Hip Hop star Cardi B has disclosed in a new viral video that she knew Shatta Wale before her recent trip to Africa.
Narrating her encounters with some folks from Ghana, Cardi B claimed to worked with a Ghanaian hairstylist before.
According to Grammy Award winning rapper, during those times of working with her, she used to tell her so much about Ghana.
And even talked about Shatta Wale and played his songs to her.
Cardi B remarked that the hairstylist in question told her that Shatta Wale was the biggest artiste in Ghana.
So before coming to Ghana, she knew him.
Cardi said:
“Before going to Africa, I had Ghanaian friends… I don’t know back in the days there used to be this woman that does my hair all the time…My hairstylist, she was like a Ghanaian lady… she used to treat me like a kid and everything. She used to be like stop cursing, you need to stop cursing, that’s bad, that’s really rude.”
She continued:
“And… before going to Ghana she told me about Shatta Wale. She said he’s like the biggest Ghanaian artiste”
