Multiple award-winning Gospel Artiste, Diana Hamilton has finally responded to her critics over the 2021 VGMA ‘Artiste Of The Year’ award.
Diana Antwi Hamilton won the award amid tough competition from KiDi, Adina, Sarkodie, Medikal and Kuami Eugene.
The Adom hitmaker also won three other awards on the night.
These are Vodafone Most Popular Song of the Year, Gospel Artiste of the Year and Gospel Song of the Year.
After the event, many people criticized Charterhouse and the organizers of the VGMA for crowning the gospel musician overall artiste of the year.
They claimed the likes KiDi, Sarkodie, Kofi Kinaata and Kuami Eugene deserved it more.
Some also opined that the organizers should separate the gospel artists from those who do secular music.
Reacting to these comments, The Adom hitmaker said everyone has the right to share their opinions on a particular subject but she thinks Charterhouse has a cafeteria for all artists who qualified to be nominated or win a particular award under the various category.
When asked how was the reception from other gospel artists towards her when she won the artiste of the year award.
Diana said it was beautiful everyone she knew was so happy for her she won the VGMA Artiste of the year award.
