Award-winning rapper, Kofi Kinaata has disclosed that Christmas is no longer as pleasant as it used to be when he was a kid. He made this revelation while speaking in an interview with Amansan Krakye of Kastle FM fame.
According to the Fante singer, the indigenous way of celebrating Christmas has been replaced with technology. He added when he was still a kid, he used to spend time playing outside with his peers, and Christmas was always enjoyable even when he did not have money.
Comparing modern-day Christmas to his adulthood, the King of the Westside stated that Christmas has lost its touch and therefore he sees it just like any other local festival.
According to Kofi Kinaata, people always complain about how the previous Christmas celebration was better than the latest simply because nowadays only the rich in society enjoy the Christmas festivity to the fullest.
