CEO of Charterhouse, Mrs Theresah Ayoade has finally reunited with Ghana’s dancehall king, Shatta Wale, and they promise something big is about to happen in this year’s edition of VGMA.
We recall, Shatta Wale was banned from been part of the VGMAs after he won the most prestigious award in 2014 the ARTISTE OF THE YEAR, for about 3 years, since 2015 to 2017 he was not nominated due to a little misunderstanding, until last year he had the chance to be nominated
Both parties have been in talks over the years for them to have a united front to make the Ghana arts space a formidable one where they will all have real power and practitioners eating big time from their works but it had always proven futile.
Today we woke up to a statement and a picture from the man himself, Shatta Wale with the CEO of Charterhouse Mrs Theresah Ayoade on his social media handles.
Shatta has never performed on the VGMA stage before since he ‘bussup’ into limelight from the hibernation, are we going to see him performing on the night at the 20th anniversary celebration for the first time? Only time will tell.
This is what, Shatta posted across his social media platforms, after the exclusive meeting with the CEO of the scheme Mrs Ayoade.
Big things about to happen 🔥🔥
