On the back of Gasmilla’s claims, EL has sent a message to the likes of Gasmilla who are requesting to be acknowledged before they help support the #BringBackAzonto agenda.

In a series of Tweets, posited that one man cannot claim ownership of the genre that has grown to become the property of the Ghanaian people. He could not fathom why some people have decided to turn the whole Azonto thing into a competition between artists.

He wrote; “Funny how y’all wanna turn this into a competition. Azonto Music does not belong to any single musician or any such group, it is the property of the GHANAIAN people. And it is big enough to Share. No hostility needed.”
