Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Hon. Kennedy Agyaponng has openly slammed Dome-Kwabenya MP, Sarah Adwoa Safo over Deputy Majority leadership position.
Adwoa Safo has become talk of time in recent past with two NPP MPs suggesting that her continued absence from Parliament was adversely affecting government business because of the hung nature of the lawmaking chamber.
Speaking in an interview with GBC, monitored by Gossips24.com, the controversial and outspoken NPP big wig revealed that Adwoa Safo has requested to be elected as the Deputy Majority leader in Parliament, a move has been turned down by NPP Caucus in the house several times.
And because of that the MP for Dome-Kwabenya Constituency has decided to absent herself from Parliament meetings in bid to get the NPP Caucus saccum to her demands.
Kennedy Ayapong added that now citizens of Dome-Kwabenya are insulting him because he campaigned massively for her.
He added that Adwoa Safo used his kids to lure him support her over former speaker of Parliament, mr Mathew Quaye’s son.
Meanwhile, Sarah Adwoa Safo has been posting videos of herself having fun on TikTok while NPP are sweating over the passing of e-levy bill in Parliament because of her absence.
Kennedy Agyapong has told Adwoa Safo that she should rather go and seek the deputy majority leader role at TikTok.
