Kumawood “handsome” actor Sunsum Ahuofe has urged Ghanaians to give a standing ovation to the directors of our local movies for changing the lives of most of the people we know hail as stars and celebrities because it was through Kumawood movies that their lives got changed within the shirts possible time.
According to Sunsum, before most of them became famed and had their names all over the place almost all of them were street hustlers who struggling to earn a living.
Speaking in an interview with Fiifi Pratt of Kingdom Plus FM, the actor said unlike Ghallywood where most of the actors are well to do, most Kumawood stars came from poor homes.
He also talked about how Agya Koo moved from a shoeshine boy who sleeps on the streets to become a national icon within a twinkling all because of Kumawood.
Sunsum Ahuofe also exposed how Ras Nene used to be a big time armed robber and drug dealer but because of Kuamwood, he’s now a changed person making a living out of his talent.
