Rapper, Tinny, has stated categorically that he does not trust the credibility of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) because they robbed him of his awards and gave it to Kwaw Kese a decade ago.
Interacting with KOD and Cookie Tee on Starr 103.5 FM’s Starr Drive show on Thursday March 21, 2019, Tinny intimidated, he worked so hard and deserved the awards for that particular year but the academy and board of VGMA conspired and gave all his plagues to Kwaw Kese.
Kwaw Kese, real name Emmanuel Botchwey, won five awards at the VGMA in 2008 but according to Tinny all those awards was his.
Tinny advised unsung artistes not give much attention to the music awards since is not credible
“VGMA GAVE ALL MY AWARDS TO KWAW KESE . THAT YEAR WAS MY YEAR BUT THEY GAVE ALL TO HIM. HE WAS SITTING BY ME AND ANYTIME HE COMES BACK, I TOLD HIM THIS IS FOR YOU GO FOR IT,” HE TOLD KOD
He stressed “The VGMA will make you feel you are not good.
The GA rapper sent a message to Kwaw Kese not to attempt a revenge of his attack on him since it will be disastrous.
Answering a question what he will do if Kwaw Kese respond to his attack with a diss song, Tinny said: “If he tries he will regret. It’s music, we will all use our talent that God gave us and he will regret”.
