Ghanaian award winning actress, Yvonne Nelson has stated that there is actually no cause to be happy about Ghana’s independence day.
Whiles all her colleagues are happily celebrating the Independence Day with beautiful pictures and nice quotes, Yvonne Nelson has disagreed with everyone.
Though in an Instagram post on her page she is seen in a yellow dress with the black star on it with two other girls in the other colors of the Ghana flag, she still sounded bitter.
In the post on Instagram she vehemently expressed her disapproval of the conventional independence day wishes that flood social media every 6th March.
According to her, there is no cause to be happy about Ghana’s purported independence because the country was sold ages ago. She stated that she is only happy for life amid blaming the leaders and the citizenry for failing the nation daily.
It seems she’s not the only one not happy about Ghanaian’s celebrating Independence Day every year since Commediene David Oscar has earlier called Ghana a shitty country.
