The lawyer of Yoruba activist Sunday Igboho – lawyer Yomi Alliu has asked the DSS to pay five hundred million Naira in damages and also publicly apologise to his client for unlawfully storming his house killing a couple of his aides in the process.
According to lawyer Yomi Alliu, all the cars that were parked in Sunday Igboho’s compound during the DSS’ raid were all damaged by the officials of the security unit hence the 500 million naira compensation will be used to replace all the destroyed automobiles.
Lawyer Yomi Alliuw also alleged that all the deadly weapons that the DSS claims to have retrieved from his client’s house are blatant lies with strong allegations that they were planted by the members of the Department of Secret Service.
In his press statement, he also pointed out that the Department of State Services is trying their possible best to kill the Yoruba Nation frontliner.
Recall that earlier last Thursday, news went rife on the internet that the DSS has raided Sunday Igboho’s house in Ibadan (Oyo State) and retrieved deadly weapons such as AK 47 riffles, pump-action guns etc from the house.
After the invasion, the DSS also dropped a public release in which the security forces asked Sunday Igboho to surrender himself to any nearby police station.
