Pictures of the deadly weapons the DSS retrieved from Sunday Igboho’s house hits the net

Sunday Igboho‘s house in Ibadan (Oyo State) was raided by the DSS a day ago. The Yoruba leader is said to have fled from his house to safety before the DSS arrived in his apartment.

According to Sunday Igboho who has granted a secret interview with BBC pidgin, some heavily armed men stormed his house around 1:30 am yesterday and forcefully mad their way into his compound by breaking his main gate.

In line with the activist’s submissions during the interview, six of the DSS officials who stormed his house were armed with AK-47 rifles whiles three were also with Pump-Action guns.

There was an exchange of gun shots and at the end of it all, two of Sunday Igboho body guards lost their lives.

Below is the list of the deadly weapons the DSS retrieved from Sunday Igboho after they overpowered his body guards.

  • Seven (7) AK-47 assault rifles;
  • Three (3) Pump Action guns;
  • Thirty (30) fully charged AK-47 magazines;
  • Five Thousand (5,000) rounds of 7.62mm ammunition;
  • Five (5) Cutlasses, One (1) Jack knife, One (1) Pen Knife
  • Two (2) Pistol holsters;
  • One (1) binoculars
  • Wallet wey contain Five (5) US Dollars in one (1) Dollar denomination; local and international driver’s licences in his name, ATM Cards, a German residence permit No. YO2N6K1NY bearing his name;
  • Two (2) whistles;
  • Fifty (5) Cartridges;
  • Eighteen (18) Walkie-Talkies;
  • Three Voodoo charm jackets/traditional body armour;
  • Two (2) Laptops (One (1) Toshiba and One (1) Compaq); and
  • International Passport and those of many others. Further exploitation and forensic analysis dey go on.

The DSS has also commanded Sunday Sunday Igboho to surrender himself to the nearest police station wherever he is before they get hold of him.
