A very sad piece of information coming has revealed that a final year student of the Tweneboa Kodua Senior High school in the Ashanti Region has died whiles trying to jump a wall to avoid been seen by his prep master.
The student whose name was identified as Edward Duut, 19, was said to have lost his life after landing on his chest instead of his legs while trying to avoid the normal daily routine check by the prep master.
According to reports the incident took place on Monday around 11 pm in the evening and was used to the Kumawu hospital where he passed on.
A teacher in the school known as Gideon Osei but popularly called Ogidi upon going to check up on the student had many of them running when they chanced on him resulting in the deceased who was asleep when he came also trying to run but unfortunately died in the process.
Sekyere- Kumawu District Police Commander DSP Opoku Agyeman Prempeh speaking to Nhyira Fm revealed that an investigation has begun into the matter but none of the teachers or students have been arrested yet but they have been made to all write a report.
