Stop Seeing Everyone Through Your Own Way – Nkechi Bianze Counsels

The catchphrase “money stops nonsense” has become popularized on social media because of how people have used it in many posts with hash tags just to prove a point.

Of late, some social media users have become fond of always dictating to people on what to do with their hard-earned money.

Reacting to this, an African blogger based abroad has written at length to advise those with such a dictating mentality.

The renowned blogger, Nkechi Bianze opined;

***stop demonizing things just because you can’t afford them. You can go with more affordable options without demonizing the more pricey ones just to massage your poverty-stricken self.

People have different realities.

To a person who makes N50k per month, buying human hair of N100k might mean “to do pass herself”. But to a person who makes N200k in a day, a human hair of N100k is just worth half a day’s pay.

Stop seeing everyone through your narrow spectrum.

I’m thinking of how to buy myself that car for my next birthday. It would cost over $30,000. My birthday is in May. If my money isn’t complete by May, it would be complete before the end of 2021.

I’m also thinking of how to buy a house of a million dollars before I turn 40.

Stop eyeing me. Stop eyeing people for calling amounts you can’t dream of. We didn’t snatch your destiny.

Some people will see this post as bragging, but that’s your poverty playing tricks on your head. Accept my sympathy. I’m still middle class trying to get rich. Don’t cut my head. Like I said, I didn’t snatch your destiny or your kidney.
