List of broke Ghanaian celebrities who still board taxi

The celebrity status has now become so cheap, and as cheap as it has become, anyone popular in any field is expected to live up to the status of a celebrity, but can everyone live up to that? – Well, not all, because they are slightly broke.

I sat under the moon to think about who in the music, and slaying industry is still referred to as a celebrity, yet cannot afford a car upon all the noise around them on social media?

Well, I came up with a few names that I know for a fact that they are still hustling, but are too broke to afford their own cars despite being everywhere to make up my list of broke Ghanaian celebrities who still board taxis.

This list is strictly an opinion and has nothing to do with hating on an artist or actress. The fact stands that the celebrities mentioned in this piece are patrons of branded/polished taxi otherwise known as Uber.

1. Kwesi Arthur

It’s the 25-year-old musician’s fourth year in the music industry and upon all his success as a hip-hop artist, Kwesi Arthur cannot boast of a car. Despite making good use of a private car in the ground up team, Kwesi is a well-known face in ubers.

The musician has revealed on countless occasions, himself, that he uses Uber for most of his rounds in the capital.

2. Kidi

The award-winning Lynx entertainment signee, Kidi is one of the very celebrities in Ghana who have achieved a lot of success so far in his career. Recently, he was in the news for acquiring an Elantra, but much has not been seen of the said car that was reportedly branded in his name.

One cannot tell why he abandons his ‘Elantra’ – that’s if it’s his – for uber.

Despite owning an ‘audio car’, Kidi is among the celebrities who patronize taxis and uber.

3. Efia Odo

Dubbed Queen of Uber in Ghana, Efia Odo is popularly known for patronizing taxis and ubers for almost all her rounds and movements in Ghana. She was seen driving a jeep wrangler a few months ago, but sources closer to her reveal the jeep was not hers and that’s why she has gone back to patronizing uber.

Just yesterday, Gossips24.com sighted a video of Efia cruising at the back seat of a taxi.
