The term ‘Slay Queens’ has become very popular in Ghana in recent times as many ladies are described with the term.

In Ghana, ‘Slay Queen’ is used generally for young ladies who dress in expensive attire but are probably not working to afford the fancy dressings.

The phenomenon of ‘Slay Queen’ lifestyle however seems to have become very common, making the word go viral.

Some slay queens are known to outwit men, milk them dry and use the money to live fanciful lifestyles.

In Ghana, the standard for slay queens have become one that must enable the lady travel abroad, especially to Dubai or South Africa.

Often when ladies who are tagged slay queens travel abroad, it is perceived by friends and social media users that it was a man who sponsored the trip.

Some other hilarious answers given by some Instagram users include: ‘Mahama’s guinea fowl’, ‘weed’ even though some users chose between cocoa and gold.
