Dancehall artist, Charles Nii Armah Mensah, popularly known as Shatta Wale has eulogized the president of Ghana, H.E Nana Akufo-Addo for manning up and being at the helm of affairs as we combat the deadly coronavirus.
Shatta Wale took to social media to shower words of praises on the president for taking the right step towards the situation at Ghana’s prisons.
People feared for the lives of prisoners should the virus spread to Ghana’s prison wards. Upon several calls from the likes of Shatta and the prison council, the president of Ghana finally decided to grant amnesty to over 800 prisoners.
This according to Shatta is one of the best moves of President Akufo-Addo. The dancehall artist in his ‘Thank You’ tweets referred to the president as “not just a leader but a man of God as well”.
He wrote; “I wrote this just last week and my God touched the presidents heart ..He is not just a leader but a man of God as well …Thank you once again Mr president @NAkufoAddo“
