The most decorated rapper in Africa, Sarkodie has finally explained why he couldn’t perform at the just ended Livespot X Festival.
Cardi B’s concert which was officially dubbed the Livespot X Festival came off in Ghana weeks ago, specifically on December 8, 2019.
The concert was supposed to host the likes of Sarkodie, Shatta Wale, Patoranking and others. But the aforementioned artistes missed out and were not able to perform.
Almost three weeks after the rapper was unable to show up on the big stage, he has finally revealed why it happened so.
According to Sark in an interview with Andy Dosty on HitzFm’s DayBreak Hitz today, it was not his fault that he didn’t perform on the night.
Rather, he was billed to perform on the 8th December at exactly 8 pm but his performance delayed to around 1 am on 9th December which was not captured on the contract.
He further stated that the organizers of the event also failed to handle matters properly backstage hence his decision to back out from performing just like others did.
I was supposed to perform at 8pm on the Cardi B show. I was there before 8. I got there, and I had to wait and wait till midnight. The explanation should come from the other side.
