Africa and the world will witness a rap battle between Sarkodie and M.i kind courtesy Ubi Franklin.
Africa’s most decorated rapper, Sarkodie is set to face Nigeria and Africa’s most rated rapper, M.i Abaga in a fierce rap battle.
Its obvious fans and music lovers have been anticipating a beef between two of Africa’s best rappers yet have not seen a showdown between them. As the continent and the world comes to a standstill, music lovers have called for a battle between them.
But it appears Ubi Franklin, a Nigerian artiste manager and founder of Made Men Music group, will be able to make the impossible possible between Sarkodie and M.i.
Ubi Franklin in an Instagram live conversation with the Ghanaian rapper interacted about his latest single – Sub Zero – and other issues relating to his career.
Ubi Franklin then asked Sarkodie if he’d be able to get into a rap battle with M.I Abaga for $200,000 and surprisingly, Sark agreed.
A few minutes after, M.I Abaga also joined the conversation in the comment session, agreeing to the quoted amount to take on Sarkodie.
However, Sarkodie is calling for $200,000 each for himself and M.i which is likely to see the figure increase to $400,000. Already, K Cee, a Nigerian artist has offered $100,000 to see the contest come off, we are hoping other investors will join the train to see this happen.
