Some parents of students in Accra Girls Senior High School hve stormed the school premises to withdraw their wards after six (6) student tested postive for the novel COVID-19.
We earlier reported that, six (6) students some students of the school showed symptoms of COVID-19 and were isolated in the school’s sickbay on Monday, June 29, 2020.
Six out of eleven students who were tested for the virus tested positive.
Health officials from the Ayawaso East Health directorate on Saturday, July 4, moved the students who tested positive to the Ga East Municipal Hospital for treatment.

JoyNews reporter Maxwell Agbaba said that some parents had been in the school to take their wards home after the reports went viral.
He stated that one parent said their kid was asthmatic and could not risk having her catching the virus.
Other parents, however, were unable to reach their kids when they arrived at the school, Maxwell reported.
