NDC “Wee” Pastor Finally Granted Court Bail

Stuanch supporter of the major opposition party in Ghana and self-professed cleric (Pastor Kwabena Agyei) who was apprehended by the Ghana police service on 9th June 2020 during a home-based live radio interview with a reporter of Hot FM for the possession of indian hemp has by-and-by been granted court bail.

Antecedent to his infamous arrest; the daredevil rabble-rouser had earlier asseverated that; he will deliberately mount a kill crusade on the E.C chairperson (Jean Adukwei Mesnah) if she proceeds with the debatable new voters register.

The “wee” parson also unflinchingly fumed at the sitting president NANA ADDO DANKWA AKUFFO ADDO and forbye waded in a reckless prognosis that he would be overthrown from his presidency anon.

To validate his arguments, he cited the ovethrow of the president’s father, Edward Akufo-Addo, who was president in 1970 and suggested a similar fate would happen to Nana Akufo-Addo.

Pastor Kwabena Agyei was charged with ; death threats, offensive conduct conducive to the breach of peace and possession of narcotic drugs

Victor Adawuda who happens to be the legal counsel for the “wee” clergyman proclaimed that his client: Pastor Kwabena Owusu Agyei is a good man with pure heart. A statement which raised eye-brows in the court room.

At the hearing at the Accra Circuit Court judge, Emmanuel Essandoh heard the counsel’s plea for bail and granted it.

The bail was set at GHc 100,000 with three sureties.

He is to report to the police every two weeks and also submit his passport. The case has been adjourned to July 21, 2020
