Ghana’s largest opposition party, National Democratic Congress (NDC); Has suspended former Deputy General Secretary of the party, Mr Koku Anyidoho.
This suspension comes as a result of a petition submitted to the party by some NDC members who are unhappy with the conduct of Mr Anyidho in recent times.
Citing from a statement signed by NDC’s current General Secretary, Mr Johnson Asiedu Nketiahsaid the petitions from the die-hard party members has been made to the Functional Executive Committee (FEC) of the party against Mr Anyidoho which is “viewed to be in breach of the Party’s disciplinary code for its members as contained in the NDC constitution.”
The press statement also detailed that Koku Anyidoho’s suspension is with immediate effect and that the party’s disciplinary committee will take further action.
