NPP delegates elects their national executives

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) National’s Delegate Conference, which started on Friday, July 15, and is scheduled to end on Sunday, July 17,2022, will nominate its national executives for the following four years.
The Accra Sport Stadium will host the election of the new leaders.
The event will take place at the stadium over the course of the next two days when new national executives are chosen.

More delegates from all 16 regions of Ghana are reportedly taking up seats in the stadium, and there is a large police presence, according to reports that have reached us.

All 10 of the party’s executive positions are up for election, however attention is primarily focused on the Chairman and General Secretary positions.

A total of about 7000 delegates are anticipated at the location to cast their votes for one of 47 candidates.
John Boadu, the general secretary, is running for re-election for a second term. Freddie Blay, the incumbent chairman, is not running.
