Ghanaians were heartbroken after the news that Aspiring Assemblyman for Adukrom Nima Nana Adanor Ibrahim Isaah Ampim also referred to as Honorable Aponkye has lost the District elections that took place yesterday, Dacember 18, 2019.
The news came as a shock after it was earlier reported on social media that he won the elections which was coupled with viral videos of his jubilation in his area.
A later and and confirmed report stated, however, that Hon. Aponkye lost woefully to his opponents. Hon. Aponkye who was obviously displeased by the results said he was going to go to court to challenge the results because he felt cheated.
Well, one of his astute supporters, multiple Award-winning journalist Nana Aba Anamoah called him to console him on his loss.
Nana Aba Anamoah took to her Instagram page to share the conversation with her followers.
Nana Aba during the conversation, encouraged Hon. Aponkye to gracefully accept defeat and congratulate his opponent.
