Veteran Ghanaian songstress, Belinda Nana Ekua Amoah, popularly known as MzBel has started a new feud with struggling singer, AK Songstress.
MzBel and Ak Songstress have been engaged in a banter on social media after the former accused the reggae-dancehall singer of stealing her song.
Sharing a dance video of Ak Songstress’ new song ‘NKOMO’ ft Medikal, the ‘Sixteen Years’ singer threatened to take AK and her management to court for robbing her off her intellectual property.
She wrote;
“😡😡😡😡😡 Just when I promised myself to stay out of controversy… this song is mine!!! @aksongstress u and your manager are thieves! Oh why do people keep doing evil things to me!!!
Going Live at 6pm on all my social media platforms! Can’t believe I actually shared a positive comment on your performance on @akuapem_poloo page, little did i know that u are a thief!!!! I don’t care what anyone says, this is my intellectual property! My lawyer’s are ready to take u people on!!!!!!!“
However, an unperturbed AK Songstress has called off the controversial singer’s bluff as she dared her to take her on.
Again, AK Songstress took to her own instagram page to warn MzBel to thread cautiously as this will not be like her usual beefs with Afia Schwar, Tracey Boakye and others.
Amidst this back and forth, a section of social media users believe this is just one of the strategies being used by Ak Songstress and MzBel to promote the new song ‘Nkomo’ which features Medikal.
