Man murders girlfriend for breaking up with him, dumps her body in bush

A man believed to be in his 50’s, Yakubu Pangyiriga has taken the life of his girlfriend for breaking up with him.

The incident happened at Abuom near Sankore in the Asunafo South district of the Ahafo region.

An eyewitness, Philip Ayigi narrating the incident said the deceased, Yaa Daagati who is also believed to be 42 years has for sometime had a misunderstanding with Yakubu which obviously led to their break up.

He explained that, the woman has revealed her ordeal to people that, Yakubu Pangyiriga has constantly threaten to kill her hence her decision to divorce him.

”We were working as usual to make our ends meet when a young girl coming from the bush and wailing told us that a man has killed her mother in the farm. We followed her to the bush and found the woman in a pool of blood. But the man was no where to be found. So we reported the matter to the Kukuom Police,” the eyewitness narrated.

The deceased had multiple cutlass wounds on the neck.
